Frequently Asked Questions

What is a session like? How long is it?

Each session is 1 hour long. You'll walk in and be greeted by a smile :). We'll warm you up with cardio, bodyweight movements, and person-specific warmup drills. While we warm up, we'll ask you some lifestyle questions to see where you're at in your fitness plan. Stressed? Didn't eat much? Crushing it? We'll check in, see where we can make some changes, and then get into the workout. Expect a consistent flow of upper, lower, and core based exercises that will help you get strong, build lean muscle, and burn body fat, all while taking into consideration your specific needs and goals. You should leave the session feeling confident, educated, and strong!

Is it pay-per-session or membership based?

Either or! We aim to be extremely flexible, and while you can most certainly pay each time, the majority of our clients often purchase a session package. That allows us to lock in consistency on the schedule to make sure everyone has a session booked. Sometimes it can be difficult to get in last minute depending on how busy it is, so we recommend booking sessions ahead.

Do you offer packages or discounts?

We offer packages of sessions of 4, 8, and 12. This generally works out to be training once, twice, or three times a week. We do not offer discounts, but are always willing to work with you if you are looking for a special type of package.

Do you provide meal plans or nutrition advice?

Yes! Everyone at HIGHLIFE is a precision-nutrition certified coach. We calculate your nutrition information such as macros, and help you develop meal plans and eating styles so you can reach your goals.

What hours are you open?

We are open 5:30am to 9:00pm Monday through Friday and open Saturday by appointment only.

Are walk-ins accepted?

Yes! Just keep in mind, we almost always have a client, so it may be rare that we can accommodate someone without an appointment. It's always best to call ahead if you want to come in that day.

Do you offer group training or only one-on-one?

Although the majority of our clients are 1-on-1 training, we work with some duets (couples or partners who want to train together). In some cases, we can even do upwards of 3 to 4 people per group, but usually no more than 4.

What ages do you train?

We train youth as young as 7 upwards of individuals in their late 70s. No matter age or situation, we are prepared to work with almost anyone!

What type of training programs do you offer?

We lead with general strength training and then personalize the fitness experience given the individual scenario. Examples include: a high school athlete wanting to get stronger for their sport, an older individual looking to gain muscle so they don't fall, or even someone with a desk job who sits all day and wants to feel more energized. These are all specialties that we introduce with strength training and personalize for you.

Can I train if I have an injury or health condition?

Yes! We are trained to work around many specialties, and are happy to assist clients with successful joint replacements such as shoulders, hips, and knees. We take pride in helping clients rehab from injuries, and want to make individuals feel safe as they progress throughout their recovery.

Is the studio kid-friendly?

Absolutely! Kids and family are all a part of a healthy, happy life. We understand the obstacles that come with parenthood, so we are always happy to accommodate kids. They may even join your workout!
